The first one I received, one of the arms was completely detached and TFSource replaced it. The replacement I got seemed fine when opened and I let it sit for a couple days. When transforming it, the arm came completely off. This is definitely a manufacturing defect.
He looks cool otherwise, but low stars for terrible quality control.

This js a spitting image of the G1 Character of dragstrip, and I adore how it gives you replacement shoulders with the order, in the box no less. However, I take slight issue with the legs. Going back into car mode and compressing the legs, the problem is twofold, perhaps even thricefold; Firstly, you have to make sure the thighs and Hips are aligned properly so that everything sits flush and does not appear Uneven. Secondly; be mindful of exactly how many clicks you have on the knees. There are tabs that go to the sides of the thighs, and too many clicks up or down messes up alignment. Thirdly, and I hope this is only an issue with MY figurs; the left side top tab in Vehicle mode that makes the compacting of the top panel of the leg snug does NOT like to plug in all too well, and is especially apparent when viewing the figure from below, interestingly. Regardless, I cannot recommend this figure enough. Though the extra face is tiny and the box doesn't hold it too snugly, so take mind to be careful when opening it.

Great representation a little fiddly . I recommend being patient and taking your time with this figure.

Xtransbots have the best alt mode scale out of the ones currently out. I have absolutely no complaints!

Both as a race car and a bot Overheat looks amazing. I was really blown away actually with the look and feel. The shoulder joint was cracked however right out of the box, and the arm broke off with the very first careful and gentle transformation.
The design for the shoulder joints is overly complex with the way you swap the arms from one side to another, and the shoulder joint plastic parts need to be thicker to support transformation without breaking.
If XTransbots solve those issues in an updated version, this part would be 5/5.

Figure looks great but the transformation, although fairly simple compared to other figures and brands, is a disaster. The hip swivel is extremely loose but flipping the engine was extremely difficult. The pin for the engine was in there so tight I could barely move it and when I thought it finally loosened up, I realized it didn't. It actually broke off. The rest of the transformation wasn't too bad but to break it right out of the box was a major bummer. I also only got one head and didn't get my 2nd gun. I'm gonna contact XTB to see if anything can be done. The engine block sits in there with no problem but putting it in arm mode later on seems like it'll likely be an issue.
The design is nicely done. Both alt mode and robot mode are clean and look really good. The back is a bit messy but very few of us are worried about the bot mode if we're being honest. The articulation is done well. His shoulders appear to be floating. It's a solid figure but you have to be careful with it.

So I recently reached out to Xtransbots since the shoulders were breaking on the figure. One completely the other started. Luckily Xtransbots replaced both but I did have to pay for shipping. The good thing to note though is they have altered the shoulder design so flipping down the wheels does not really contact the plast putting stress on the shoulder. It looks like the piece the wheel assembly was hitting has been shortened to give it clearance but a little tension.
That aside the figure is one of the more fun ones to transform and I love how well it manages the proportions. Only grip is the shoulders are too broad and the head is to high up off the body looking like a long neck. It just kills the otherwise spot on look of the cartoon. There also could of been more design in trying to hide the front spoiler but atleast its not a huge backpack

Really fun figure. Love the arm transformation. Looks great too! The posability was awesome, until I picked him up. Now his right arm won't stay up.

Great figure and great interpretation of dragstrip. Only issue for mine is when I tried to transform him back into is vehicle mode, his right arm completely sheered off the mushroom peg. I do believe the fault was mine but do be careful with the figure between transformations. I haven’t noticed any stress marks anywhere else on the figure though. Do have another overheat coming in soon. Overall love the set so far!

I knew it would be a problem, thought I was being careful, broke it anyway. Now I am sad. Still like the alt mode.

Xtransbots is killing the Stunticons game. I have all four figures. FYI : if anyone is having issues with the part that is breaking just shave the inside edges down with a boxcutter razor about two times on each side to fold properly. You can also watch Emgo 316's YouTube channel for a very detailed transformation guide.

This is a beautiful, G1-accurate(as much as possible) figure with vibrant colors(loving the two-tone finish) and superior articulation and stability. His Menasor(Monolith) configuration conveniently allows you to separate his body into two parts to make transformation easier, as you could with Deathwish(Dead End).
The part that everyone is complaining about breaking is a problem if you're not prepared to deal with it beforehand. Sanding the inside edge down got mine to fold properly with very little effort. Should that effort be required for a quality product? Probably not, but for me, it's still not enough to knock it down a star.

Love this figure but same exact front hood piece broke off, like in previous review. I followed the instructions/video and I should've known better, it didn't feel right...I guess just leave that piece alone for transformation. Now this is a $140 figure since I'm buying it twice.

Overheat, in particular, is a brilliant piece of transformation engineering and sculpt design. The colors are deep and pleasant. Articulation is par for the course.
Yet, the front hood piece of the car broke right out of the box, upon first transformation. I followed the instructions exactly, being extra careful. When the joint wouldn't fold like it's supposed to, I checked a video to make sure I understood correctly. The reviewer folded it with an easy push.
Thinking I'm being overly cautious, I applied a smidgen of more force. BAM - the front center square of the car snaps clean off. Super glue won't hold it. QA is a major repeat offense with X-Transbots, so spend your $70/figure at your own risk.
