I purchased this guy at a good sales price knowing that it had a very "debated" review history. When I got it straight out of the box upon its' first transformation the right are broke off at the join without it being overly manipulated. The arm joints are completely weak and may I say "crap". Luckly I was able to to take the few plastic shards that broke off and with a lil Super gel Glue got the shoulder/arm joint mold just fixed enough to put the arm back on. I actually surprised myself that it worked out pretty well and I can even manipulate that shoulder/arm joint enough for some pose him on the shelf. Overall it does look good and I personally like the height of these Xtransbots compared to other companies. I will certainly be buying the other colors in this mold in the future for the looks of them. I can only recommend this guy if you get him at a good price.

I have been picking up this set of Stunticons one at a time as I find them on sale. They are solid figures. Were the transformations not so difficult, I would have bit the bullet and got them outright. As it is, I like Overheat (aka Dragstrip) a lot. If I find the other limb bots on sale, I will drop the coin for the trailer. Good bot overall.

Just got mine out of the box and the engine broken when sliding it into the chest. Everything can still work but really not a good start.

I have both the standard x transbots “drag strip†and the youth version. Both are great looking figures. Transformations are reasonable straightforward as compared to the x transbots menasor trailer. I was able to transform the standard one without problems 4 times before combining it. In contrast, the youth version I bought broke the left shoulder on the first transformation. I knew how delicate those shoulders were so i was being cautious so it shouldn’t have broken. Perhaps it is a build flaw in the youth version if another person also broke it.

Well got mine and opened him to find his shoulder broken in the box. Going to try and get a replacement from the company. Wish me luck.

The head sculpt is very basic... I wish I had gotten the original. No QC issues for me.

I want to love this figure, I really do. It looks great in the box and it's vehicle mode looks just as great. Here is where I run into problems. Straight out of the box his left shoulder joint is so loose I could spin it with a flick of my finger. the waist joint is VERY loose. Also the tab that holds his shin panel in place just will not lock in on this left side. I guess it's possible he had a stroke and his entire left side is a floppy mess. Unfortunate. Possibly just a QA issue but still....
