I can't suggest this kit, as it doesn't add anything to elevate the figure to the next level.

Most of the installation is straight-forward, but be VERY careful when installing the shin risers.

The tolerances for the input shaft/tubes are minimal. I would suggest using a bit of dry silicon on the parts to help them slide together. One of the tubes from my kit snapped inside the shaft during installation, which required some work to rectify.

The chain for the matrix attaches to the back of it, which causes it to hang facing downwards - so instead of letting it hang freely, it needs to be tabbed into the slot on the top of Galvatron's chest.

The hands are easy enough to swap, but don't add much play value. The rifle is molded nicely, but ends up getting put aside most of the time.

The three additional faces are nice, but can't be distinguished from one another from arms' length away.

I can't suggest buying this upgrade kit.

Takara tomy hasbro really dropped the ball when releasing Galvatron in the kingdom line, it was expected to be better at Legacy release. NO LUCK. The figure was missing something.....
Here comes the third party that saved the $40 dollars bot...
IT REALLY brings the leader of the deceptions out with the leg extensions, awesome hand retooling and the killer blaster gun! (Let's not forget the extra faces, caps, hardware and chain for matrix.....plus blast effect!)
Not disappointed with my purchase of the kit and the kit itself.
Dissatisfied with the original bot not living to the standards for the price point since they could probably addded $5 more to final price to deliver a great toy.

Great upgrade kit. The leg extenders really give Galvatron more presence and the matrix chain is perfect. Articulated hands. More of this please.
