Overall this is a very nice figure, however some parts are definitely delicate during the transformation. It's a bit involved, as I expect from masterpiece style figures, but it's simpler than some other official figures I have (looking at you MP-44 and MP-36). The cartoon accuracy is insane, little to no kibble (and no backpack!), and the articulation is 10/10. If you're looking for a MP style Blurr, this is the way to go.

This is a great figure overall. However it's the only figure I've ever managed to break during transformation. This wasn't because its particularly delicate, but because there are so many small moving parts at once. I broke one of the tiny back flaps around the exhaust port trying to rotate them with the legs properly. Getting everything tabbed in in the last stage of transformation took a half a hour alone and was frustrating.
That said, both modes look amazing. This is the best blur out there. Robot mode could use a little more detailing to make it pop. Articulation and hardware are all good. Lots of solid metal.

I like to display my figures in robot form and I tend not to transform my masterpiece figures so this figure does what I want it to do. The likeness is very good but the head does not like to tab in at all.

Unfortunately, a piece in the leg broke on third transformation. It’s delicate and I would imagine that piece breaks on a lot of copies. Otherwise it’s solid—immaculate sculpt and a surprising amount of articulation. Wish the alt mode had a stand or something to keep the painted knees from scraping the ground. All pale blue is unpainted plastic, not what you expect from FT nowadays.

I’m happy I finally got a MP Blurr. He is nice, and looks good in both modes. But like the other reviewers said transforming him is VERY frustrating. Tabbing the sides in is terribly difficult and could have been engineered more smoothly. I’d recommend him if you can handle a challenging transformation and want a good looking Blurr.

I did not transform mine as I couldn't even get passed the issue with the head not tabbing all the way. I've read forum threads regarding this issue and tried some suggestions. So far, the head still won't tab in all the way no matter how much pressure I use to push it down, But, I don't want to break the head so, I'll leave it as it is. For what it's worth, it's good for display the way it is, with a couple of poses in robot mode.

My title says it all pretty much. I think it’s a nice figure but just so anyone wanting to purchase this is aware, HIS COLORS ARE NOTHING LIKE THESE PICTURES on this website. Everything that is supposed to be the darker shade of blue is actually very purple and it’s driving me crazy. And I know it’s not just the lighting either because I’ve seen it in daylight, white light, etc. and I’m a graphic artist so I know what purple looks like. He actually LOOKS LIKE A DECEPTICON in these colors. I’m so disappointed.

I always open the box, transform the figure once and back again, and put it on display. I couldn’t even fully transform this one into alt mode. It’s that difficult and frustrating. Since I display them in bot mode it’s not as big a deal but for fans toys prices you should be able to fully enjoy the figure.

Jabber looks amazing in bot and car mode. He really looks like he stepped out of the cartoon. However he also has one of the worst transformations I've run into in the last 30 years.
Tolerances for this figure are poor. Parts that slide don't want to slide. Tabs are too tight for the slots they're paired with. You feel like you're gonna break the toy tabbing some parts in, and it feels even worse trying to separate them again. Clearances are bad so that you have to flex some parts to get thing where they need to be. There is a section that forms the middle of the sides of the car that is on 3 tiny hinges so close together they might as well be a chain, and that part is very hard to get lined up correctly and tabbed in.
Overall your options for a Masterpiece Blurr are limited and this guy looks the part. Just don't transform him often because he won't hold up to it.

The BEST GEN 1 BLURR EVER! Accurate as can be,the wait for the release sucked but the figure is perfect! No flaws what so ever, wish he came with more faces but that can be an add on later. PLEASE DO A ULTRA MAGNUS FANS TOYS PLEASE! That is the missing piece

If you want a Blurr that is great to look at but never transform, than this is for you. Not so much if you like to fiddle with you stuff like I do. Transformation is overly difficult with instructions that are either plain wrong or missing steps in places. Beware the flimsy light blue leg panel that becomes the side of the Alt mode. Mine broke on first transformation using no extra force or manhandling the product. BUT, like I said, it's great to look at, very poseable, fits right in with my other movie bots and it feels very solid. Just be careful. Oh, and in certain light he looks purple. Doesn't bother me, just pointing it out.
