The robots are very detailed and it provides a very good representation of the movie. However, two situations prevent this to have 5 starts:

1. The manual: Scavenger's step 10 for Devastator-component-to-Robot manual is incorrect. Scavenger's step 21 and 22 for Robot-to-vehicle are also incorrect. So, I am wondering if the diagrams got messed up while printing the manual. It might sound like something simple, but for someone with Asperger's syndrome, a bad printed manual makes the experience super frustrating.

2. It is not very stable: In fact, you move one degree the arms and the devastator is not able to stand. So you will end up dealing with the robot's equilibrium for a while when trying to pose it.

So in short, it is a mixed experience: It is good, but quality assurance could do a better job with this product.

Toy came on time. Everything was accounted for. Nothing was broken. Had to fix Mixmaster a little bit because of an issue with his arms, but is was an easy fix. Transforming them to and from their vehicle modes to robot modes is very entertaining. Getting them all to Devastator is a bit of a challenge, but it's a fun challenge. Overall, 4 stars.

A very detailed and overall nice unit. Scavenger alone takes 36 steps to morph to one of it's conversions. Unfortunately one of the ribbits that holds one half of Scavenger scoop (that eventually becomes Devastator's arm) broke while I was transforming him for the first time right out of box. It became useless, but son loves it, so I went ahead and ordered a replacement at $91.30 with shipping. Wish shipping included delivery info as to when to expect arrival.
