This is a great looking figure. Standing him up next to my Optimal Optimus figure I got when I was a kid, you almost can't tell them apart. There are some slight differences: better articulation, a face sculpt that's more in line with the character model from the show, the chest cannons retract like they do on the show, but other than that and a few other details the untrained eye wouldn't be able to tell them apart. It's almost like someone got their hands on the mold of the original toy and made some tweeks to it. If I had a complaint, it would be that some of the joints are a little loose, and I kinda wish he was a little taller. I've got Perfect Effect Gorira too, and while Guardian wipes the floor with him when it comes to show accuracy, Gorira is a bigger, beefier figure that just looks a little more impressive when they're side by side. Even still, Guardian is a great figure that checks all the nostalgia boxes.

Ok, regarding the figure I do not have any complains, its perfect. I did not get the chance to had one when I was a kid so I´m very happy with the figure. However what I did not like at all is that the figure does not bring any instructions how to transform it, come on! its a +$100 and no instructions!! big mistake!! transarts is alright that you want to save the money and the planet dont do it on paper but you can have one digital, maybe adding a QR code to the box that will take you to the instructions could be a nice idea. Besides that I´m very satisfifed with the figure.

I opened the package absolutely amazed by what I saw, white gloves and a cleaning cloth to keep the chrome in good shape. Looking forward to transforming him, but he didn't come with instructions, so I'll have to look up a video on YouTube. Good thing he comes with a cartoon accurate gorilla face, because the standard one is missing an eye. I am otherwise very satisfied with the figure. If I could get a replacement face or eyes I would be completely satisfied, but missing an eye and instructions is a bit upsetting to me.
