Transformers Alternators Hound transforms from a Jeep Wrangler to robot and back and integrates its weaponry into its transformation adding an all new level of innovation to your Transformers experience!    Hound is part of the Transformers Alternators line and is made of high quality ABS plastic. 

 

Hasbro's Alternators Transformers are made of high quality plastic and were released in 2003. The toys in this series transform into licensed, 1:24-scale accurate representations of real cars from automobile manufacturers around the globe, complete with opening doors, hoods, trunks, either connected front wheel steering or individual wheel suspension, plus realistic detailed driver/passenger compartments. Essentially, Transformers toys that turn into model cars. In Japan the Alternators line was released under the Binaltech name and featured die-cast parts, unlike their American counterparts.

The Wrangler is one of my favorite Alternators/Binaltech molds, however it's not perfect. I love the working suspension and it's one of the more intuitive Alternators molds to transform. Hound's bot more looks great and he doesn't have the silly boots like the WRX or RX8 molds. However, he has NO bicep articulation, and in combination with his limited shoulder mobility, this definitely impinges posability. This is an odd thing to not include as, to my knowledge, it's present across the rest of the line.

bought him loose & WOW perfect condition! joints were tight (including the gun joint), paint was perfect.
as far as the actual transformer: this hound is the best rendition! rubber tires = you push he goes & goes. easy to transform & it Never feels like you'll break him switching back & forth from vehicle to bot.
i wish there was some 3rd party addons, maybe a shoulder missile but i recommend to all
