If you're buying the upgrade kit. to upgrade the robot yes it's a buy. but if you're going to try to combine them the upgrade kit makes them too heavy and I bought it on special you need to go to a video. It does not bring a removal pin you have to buy removal pin is not in the kit you have to have patience because it becomes a little annoying but the robot does look nice with the upgrade kid if you're buying it for that reason if not it's not a buy I repeat again it does not come with the removal pin

it takes a little while to get it together (mainly getting 2 pins out and replacing the waist and hip sections) i would recommend watching a youtube video for assembly as the instructions arent that great but it boosts the figure up to what today is nearly a commander class in size and height if you are a fan of the idw comics this is a must buy especially if u already have battle core optimus

While the kit looks amazing and the assembly is relatively easy (Gunpla Builders and Transformer Customizers should have no problem) there are some core issues. The waist has difficulty holding the ratchets of the legs in place and if you tighten to the point where the waist will meet completely, the screw will snap. I had to talk with customer service about a new piece for the waist which was a pleasant experience.Theres some stability issues when it comes to the combined mode but nothing a little patience can't handle. Overall it's still a very good kit and gets you an amazing looking figure so I recommend it.

Let start off by saying this... If you're skill level is mediocre when it comes to building Gundam model kits... I highly recommend you passing on this one. Now I'm not saying this to discourage anyone, but if you want this kit to turn out right. Your gonna need a certain skill level to achieve it, and judging by the complaints and the two video reviews I seen where they actually broke it... They didn't have it. Now as for me building this guy was pretty easy and the end result was perfect. The only problem I had was really reinserting the pin in his back. And no you do NOT have to disassemble every little piece which was a big mistake the video reviews did... Trust me if you got the skill level and the patience this guy will turn out great.

The instillation was a welcome challenge, and turned out to be more enjoyable than frustrating. The only real challenge was removing and reinserting the pins on the figure. As other reviewers said, the added weight really makes the joints floppy in combined mode, as I had to make numerous improvements on the joins as well as the combiner ports on the limb figures. Extra work after instillation is needed to get the most out of this kit.

Breaking your optimus apart with a plastic wedge as your tool in order to remove the old parts was tough. trying to pound it all back together using that wedge and a hammer was hard on the soul. Once it's on, he looks good by himself, but combiner mode it next to impossible to arrange stably.

This kit is a bit of a bear to install, but once it is complete the finished product is spot on in my opinion. The instructions are vague in some places. The difficulty comes not from the kit but from the Hasbro product itself, as the hips are glued together. After getting them apart it's really a breeze. If your a Nova fan and aren't afraid of a little hard work I highly recommend this product.

Maybe it's me, but from start to finish this kit is terrible. You have to put everything together. The instructions are pretty bad, the combined mode wing mounts are horrible. Great heads and weapons thiugh, so, there's that
