I bought both kits for Ironhide and Ratchet. These kits are worth the money to get rid of what Takaratomy/Hasbro left of that kibble on their hips.

I’m going to keep this short & sweet. These aren’t quite the same color as MP Ratchet’s white, but are very close. While installing the kit two things gave me problems. The first is the order of the directions, it says/shows to do the fender/door pieces first then the old hip flaps. I’d suggest the opposite so to give yourself more room when plugging in the new fender/door pieces into his chest. The second is simply that my Ratchet’s pelvis did not want to split without a bit of a fight, so you might want a nylon spudger if you’re cautious about paint chipping.

Past that it was easy to do and gives the character, well, more character

Easy to assemble and makes the figure look 10 times better.

This is my 3rd minor mod. Usually I'm scared to tinker...but this took under 10 mins. 5 screws and everything fit great. The picture shows white tabs to fit on his diaper..they are NOT. They are red, but unfortunately they do not match the red that is there. They only downfall. Besides that, it makes Ratchet a 1000x better looking. Go for it
