Very solid figure, and a great homage to a sub-line repaint of an unavailable figure here in the US... Intuitive transformation, amazing paint and awesome size. MMC knocks another figure out of the park without crippling the bank account

MMC just does things right. No QC issues ever. I had a weird soft spot for machine wars and this Prime takes me back.

As a kid in the late 90s, I'd collected most of the Machine Wars line of Transformers because they were the only vehicle-based ones you could.find. Their only flaw was that the bigger ones couldn't match the Beast Wars line for poseability. They were G1 bricks in all their glory.

Dissatisfied with the state of things, I sketched out designs for revamped figures with modern articulation (as much as a 12-year-old kid with zero design experience could, anyway). Naturally, I had no idea how to get them made, but it was a fun exercise in imagination. I shelved the ideas and moved on.

So when my wife got me Thunder Prominon as a Father's Day present, it was like a long-forgotten dream had come true for me. It is a fantastic figure that I could have only dreamed of 20 years ago. Top notch articulation, poseability, and build quality. I'm so glad I have this.

First off - Thank you tfsource for carrying this figure at a good price; convention exclusives are usually not priced this low.

Mastermind Creations hits it out of the park again with this somewhat Machine Wars looking Prime bot. The figures' joints are just right: nothing too loose, nothing too tight. The paint applications are on point and its' sculpt is imposing. Even Hasbro's Prime shutters at the sight of this figure.

What I found most intriguing was the face sculpt. The face on this figure named "Thunder Prominon" is a lot more humble than one might expect, but would expect from a Prime - It was certainly a surprise to this Transformers collector of 35 years. I highly recommend this figure for any collector looking for a true 'Hector Sigma & Marty Prime' appointed Prime figure.

Now if only Mastermind Creations would retool Aero Alpha into Nominus Prime...

So I’ve got ever version of this mold so far and I can’t state much impressed I get with each one. Just going from thunder clash to MW Optimus with slight changer makes an awesome difference.

Absolutely perfect except for the fact that he can't really hold his gun. Other than that I'm in ecstasy!!!
