First off the 86' TF anime is one of my favorite films ever, I loved my daily dudes hated watching them all be slaughtered, sob sob. BUT the new characters except H-ROD all hit home with me, especially the Junkions.
Crash/Wreck-gar and Dumpyard/Junkyard are remolds of each other but they look very different. You can switch almost every body part on these two, amazing playability. Pretty good articulation and a logical enjoyable transformation. Get the set, comics inside!

Great set. A lot of weight compared to their previous offerings. Great representation of an homage to Wreck gar and (random) Junkion.

The instructions are... difficult to read, and take my word for it, it's far easier to transform the robot head if you remove the chest first (it's designed to be interchangeable between the two figures).

Other than that, and the fact that I just can't get used to KFC's extra-long fingers, these are terrific figures, each one as tall as a Masterpiece Seeker. Screen-accurate and extremely poseable, with some die-cast in the legs to keep them standing up. Have fun swapping parts between the two of them as part of your display, or let one ride the other's vehicle mode.
