Looks amazing in both modes. Head cannot swap with other head masters, chopper mode doesn't display well unless you bring the tail end down for stability or if you have a transparent arm to hold him. Other than that, amazing robot, I look at him every day!

There are a lot of things that are left to be desired with this toy and it’s not a perfect figure but I knew everything to expect going in because I did my research and I’m very happy with this figure and I’m very happy with this company!

function x browning 2 is an awesome figure with some small flaws. In alt mode, there is no rear landing gear so the alt mode tends to rock back. Some lose joints but no means a deal breaker. Very fun and pretty easy transformation. Woukd highly recommend for those breaking into the 3rd party scene

I actually think this figure gets a bad rap. The robot mode is really well done and has both great articulation. The vehicle mode isn't for everyone, but I think it looks great from every angle except straight from the side. Even then, it's not that bad.
I really appreciate how these Fansproject headmasters have tried to be more creative with the way they transform and work in both modes. They could have easily mailed it in like every other version of this figure and just had him lie down and be a helicopter brick. They took risks and it mostly paid off. Instead, they made a figure that's both intuitive, easy, and fun to transform.
It'd likely be a four star figure to make room at the top for Smart Robin, but it's hard to deny the value of the figure at its sale price.

If you don't own any of the other FansProject Function X headmasters, then you may well really like this as a "stand-alone" figure. If you have been collecting Function X, you will likely be as upset and disappointed as me. First let me say that I do like the main figure... in robot mode. Same scale and production quality as other Function X bots, decent paint apps, etc. However, the transformation is awkward and clumsy in places, and does not result in a solid vehicle. The 'copter is loose in places, and the nose and tail don't look like they belong on any vehicle meant to fly. The main complaint, though is with the head(master). It stands out like a sore thumb among the other Function X headmasters: bigger and completely devoid of any detail paint. The sculpted details seem like a completely different style than the other Function X'ers. As a head, you may well think you transformed him wrong, because he's loose, his drop-down visor doesn't fit properly and there is a distinct gap between the visor and the forehead piece. But the unforgivable part in my eyes... the connection is slightly larger, so this figure is NOT cross-compatible with the other Function X headmasters!!! If I had known that, I never would have purchased this figure. FansProject, what were you thinking?!
