I pre-ordered this one and the other Diaclone powered single set. Description says it is 2ish inches tall, and i thought to myself that the description must be talking about the minifigure not the mech, but indeed it is not!

The larger of the two figures fits very easily in the palm of the hand, the smaller of the two (the pilot) if about as tall as your thumb nail is long.

The plastic quality is top notch on both figures and, just as with the original Diaclone toys, the minifigure has tiny magnets in the feet!

The larger figure has primarily ball joints, which serves it really well. The smaller figure, also heavily featuring ball joints, is articulated at the knees, hips, shoulders and elbows, as well as having an ab-crunch. The larger figure is somewhat limited due to having to hold the smaller figure, but still quite impressive, especially for the size!

The 40 collar price tag is a bit steep for about 4 oz of plastic, but there are detailed paint applications and the quality of all plastic involved is of superior grade.

very much a must have if you have a thing for mecha, diaclone nostalgia, or generally like unique figure designs.
