Likely the best version of Black Optimus Prime ever.

with as many repaints as this mold has had I wasn't expecting perfection. But 1 notable problem isn't from a mold being worn out but from assembly error. The hip/leg joint (connects leg to hip segment) on the right leg (chest facing me) was extremely loose and floppy right out of box. I figured it was just a loose screw and attempted to tighten it up but found the scew was stripped and not grabbing at all. Unless there is some way to obtain a replacement part I will have to try to find a way to create,bond filler in the screw hole to re-thread and tighten it. Gorilla glue?

Chest does not close all the way together. There is always a 1-2mm gap. Other than that I love this figure. Upgraded it with new hands/gun and the LED head and Matrix. The new arm upgrade makes his arms more proportional and bulkier.

I aldready have the Takara MP-10 in the usual color scheme, but I got this one too. It’s a decision I am very happy with, as the two match each other very well. The quality of the figure is fantastic, it has a very nice weight and the joints feel solid. It may be plastic, but I have a feeling it will last until my children inherit it, if not a generation more.

This figure is absolutely amazing. MP-10 was already fantastic, and this evil color pallet finishes up the fantastic look. Very solid, very nice, very happy with it. I was also surprised to find the collectors coin inside, I wasn't expecting it!

OMG! this transformer is absolutely stunning the high gloss black is beautiful! the pictures do not do him justice he looks 10 times better in hand ! he makes my TRU MP10 look dull next too him! the only down side is the eyes could have been brighter red
