Optimus looks great in both modes, difficult to transform the cab/figure at least for the first time as you learn. Weakness: The top hinge connecting the roof to the back of the cab is very tight and stresses the plastic when changing from figure to truck. The matrix piece falls out easily during transformations so be careful not to lose it. Impressive transformation. Given how thin and small the parts are, I'm not sure how many transformations it can go through before breaking. The design is very nice, video instructions should be better than the printed instructions. Everything works from the start. The trailer is nice but the connection from trailer to cab is annoying to make, requiring a lot of fiddling to get it perfectly placed and tabbed in. Once in place, the trailer stays on well enough for light movements. The trailer will only fit the smaller of the Legends scale figures and is about 1 and 5/8 inches wide (about 41 mm). Overall recommended and looks very good in figure and vehicle modes.

I revised this review from three stars (too harsh) to 5 stars (more appropriate) after a few months of using it and after seeing other legends scale transformers from Magic Square and Newage. Everything I mentioned before applies, but I wanted to add it is now my favorite legends scale version of Optimus Prime, even among Newage offerings which are also great. The key for me is the head placement on this figure (MS) compared to Newage. Magic Square has the head in the right place while Newage's prime's head is a little too far back. This tiny difference in location is enough to notice. The figure's articulation is great and the accessories are all good to have. I also like the longer size of the trailer on MS-B46 Light of Victory 2.0 Version compared to Newage's "David". The longer trailer fits more of the other legends scale car bots. I also have come to appreciate the feel of the Magic Square plastic and its flexibility when a little flex is needed. MS typically has more complicated transformations than NA, and if you aren't pressed for time with a child asking you to "Daddy transform it", the puzzle of figuring them out is fun.

Overall, more experience with this and other MS and NA figures has made me boost my first rating of B46 and I like it so much I have a backup copy and the white (B46W) version.
