X-Transbots Master Mini line features highly articulated Masterpiece scaled minibot figures that pay homage to their G1 origins.  Each figure features high grade ABS, as well as die-cast parts and rubber tires if there are wheels on the figure.

X-transbots figure lines feature modern manufacturing process that makes their figures affordable while maintaining high quality and solid construction.  Built from a combination of ABS plastic, nylon and rubber for the tires, most figures also contain some type of diecast parts and feature clear windows for their alternate modes.  Updated G1 color schemes and great articulation/ratcheting of joints make these figures visually spectacular.

Why does it take 5 pages to transform the feet? why X-transbots, why? You're rewarded with a pretty neat looking guy though.

The figure looks the part in both modes, getting it transformed there is likely to test your patience!!
Way too complicated for such a small figure.
Was no fun to transform at all. Arms & especially the legs were very tricky, Instructions are in a nice booklet but are not that clear.
Overall looks very nice, 3.5 stars...

Pros: he looks great! Very accurate to the cartoon. Beautiful car mode. Fantastic face mold. Finally, amazing pose-ability.

Cons: I can't stand the rubbery plastic. I guess it makes sense since a lot of the transformation involves bending the plastic around weird barriers — which to me, does not feel like i'm transforming something. Feels more like I'm playing with some arts and craft thing, molding between two forms. Also, at no point did I enjoy this transformation. Did they really have to make it this difficult? I wanted to toss this figure out the window a few hundred times, even with the manual's aide. Finally, I had to look it up on YouTube which helped a little bit. However, still a nightmare.

Conclusion: he's worth getting if you want a Windcharger in your collection case next to the other 3rd party minibots. However, if you ever want to transform it for fun, probably not the figure for that.
