This is a really nice figure! The transformation is straight forward and intuitive. Everything tabs together well and tolerances are good. Nice detail and paint. I would have liked articulated hands but as I thought about it I don't really see the necessity of them. This is a big recommend if you're looking for a Trailbreaker!

Picked this up on sale as I am rebuilding my collection. The positives are many with it being well designed both in alt and bot mode. Many accessories. Well weighted and feels like quality when handled. The only ding I will give is the color is more dark grey than black like the photos illustrate. It looks great on my shelf and works well size wise with my other Autobots. Worth it for the price imho.

I love this guy, best Trailbreaker we got to date, it will be a hard choice once the Fans Toys version comes out but the paint/sculpt and materials are all well done. The only issue is the awkward knee bends as it creates a fiddley lower body. Other than this, this is the best Trailbreaker out at the moment!

This thing is a beast! I love it. It just feels nice and solid in hand, and doesn't leave with the feeling that you may break a piece off or chunks of paint just my looking at it (like the likes of MP45, haha). All I have to compare this to is bad cubes offering and I think this is for sure the best S*** kicking, force field making, toon accurate not Trailbreaker, Trailbreaker there is..... For now. The shoulders are a bit strange, but have good range (tight ratchets). Something about the chest just looks weird to me, and has ever since I was looking at it before I bought it. It doesn't look as strange in hand however I feel as though the proportions are just a little bit off and the chest and abdomen area, maybe it's that there is no difference between the two. Either way I definitely a strong recommend it!

Terrific representation of the G1 Trailbreaker. Knees both needed a little adjusting. (right lower, and left upper both needed tightening)

Only thing I wish X-transbots included, a clear back Autobot decal to be applied later. So hard to find 1 that isn't a part of a larger set

Looks great in both modes. Good-sized figure, almost as tall as MP 10 and about as tall as the seekers. Transformation is fairly simple and intuitive, unlike some other X Transbot entries (I'm looking at you, Boost and Hatch). Well worth getting if you like the character or if you're a completionist. Great accessories.

Yes, posing him can be a little limited. However, the paint and presence of the bot makes up for it. I wish the transparent blue for the glass was a little more frosted to hide his insides. The transformation isn't too bad, and the mass shifting is great. His reasonably sized truck ends up a pretty bulky looking bot, taller than MP Ironhide. His shoulder weapons fold into the transformation and are not separate accessories, which is a nice touch. A little more flexibility on the shoulders would've gotten this guy 5 stars but I would still recommend him.

This figure is virtually identical to the G1 cartoon model. The proportions, colors and simplistic aesthetic are all on point, exactly what I've come to expect from X-Transbots.

My only grip is with poseability. The shoulders don't have much clearance, and the feet only move side-to-side. Although the toe is on its own hinge, it doesn't have enough clearance from the ankle to adequately compensate.

I would've given it 4 1/2 stars if I could.
