This Rippersnapper homage has a clever transformation and the alt-mode is far more fearsome than the original toy (while still being faithful to that design) with a fair amount of articulation.

I have yet to notice any of the shoulder issues that others are mentioning, but I will agree that the instruction manual was much less thorough than others I have seen (Hasbro, Generation Toy).

Just got this one last night and got to say over all i'm pleased with it. The right little beast arm is real loose with it's elbow, for me the parts with the robot mode arms are a tad hard to peg in and to unpeg but that's not really a bad thing even though the shoulder pads to tend to come off which they can be put right back on. All three modes look good and transforming this figure is kind of fun, yeah might have been a tad unlucky with the QC but hey it happens, over all I would say this guy is worth it if you are getting the full set like I am and he matches up well with Troll and Siegfried. Can't wait to get the last two and finish this set up

I love these guys, but I wondered why this guy was cheaper than the rest and I figured it out...though Ordin - O-01 had all parts sturdy this one suffered in two areas:
1. Weak shoulder joints, that keep sliding down...
2. A manual that is anything but User - Friendly

Unique Toys is really making a great combiner set. Troll was amazing and Alberich well slightly not as amazing as Troll this is still a great figure. I cant wait till all of them are release.

Unique Toys has done it again! While not quite the star troll is, Alberich still holds together very well and looks good in all three modes. If you like the terrorcons in general, this is for you!
