This figure is so visually appealing, with the great paint of the headsculpt and details on the chest, I’m also a fan of the altmode design because it seems reminiscent of a beetle. Sadly the figure is let down by its engineering. For starters it is difficult to pose. Secondly the transformation into the altmode is unintuitive and unfun. The chunkyness really dilutes what is such a cool design. This soundwave might be best left alone as a toy, because it seems much more in line with being a display piece. So while it might not have been what I was looking for, it just might be for someone else.
