This is an awesome throw back to G1. I'm not sure if the main bot is repackaged for the 86 set but with this one you get the trailer and the bot. True there's not much to the trailer, but its a G1 throw back!

Great in both vehicle and Robot mode. Only issues in mine are when the cannon is in the trailer it won’t snap close, the tab that locks it into place puts pressure on the trailer just enough to make it not align and stay together.

The figure is amazing if you don't look at the trailer. If this cost 50 and didn't have this god awful failure of a trailer it would be a 5 star but the trailer is so bad it ruins it seeing it is at a commander class price point. The trailer does not close with nothing in it and if you put that horribly designed gun in it the problem gets far worse. No matter what I do the mufflers on the trailer don't sit right and makes it look off. In the end I tossed the trailer in a drawer to never see the light of day again and put Rodimus on the shelf with Hotrod

Wow all this figure needed was about an inch more of height and some die-cast and he would've been a top 5 masterpiece that's how great a figure this Rodimus is, hopefully in the future we can get a 2.0 of Rodimus Prime hopefully on this level or above.

I don't open my toys but it looks very nice with the G1 throwback look and we all know that's what it is all about.
