Iron Dreg is the fourth in the dino combiner line from Toyworld. This will be reviewed in the three modes: Dino, Robot, and Combiner.

Dino: The dino form was leaner than I expected. Articulation in the joints and mouth is okay though the multiple hinges in the mouth can make it odd moving. You will have to glue in some parts to cover screw opens and I did have to sand some of the parts to get them to fix. One is at an old angle near the shield that can be difficult. The melee weapons for this one are hidden in the tail, a new thing for the line. They do not draw much attention so that is nice.
Robot: Robot form is interesting. I would expect this model to be bulky like Roar and Muddy, but it’s rather lean giving it a different feel. The legs of Dino form merge wonderfully with the Robot mode so you don’t get them hanging out at odd angles. This is rather nice because it gives the model more stability. The accessories are disappointing again. The gun could not be more generic and the melee weapons, I cannot tell if they are axes or odd short spears. The instructions do not show the way they are intended to be wielded nor does the box tell. But they do little to distract from it.
Combiner: Iron Dreg is the right arm of the Dino combiner and it is a beast of an arm. The leaner nature of the other two forms gives it a very muscular look when placed on the combined form. The elbow joint slides in and out of the chest cavity so you don’t see it in the other forms. Rather like that touch.
