ToyGeek code: TITANS-SENTINEL
The Autobots unite with Titan Master partners to power up for battle. With Titans return, who else should return but Sentinel Prime. Admired as an iconic war hero and mighty warrior, the former Autobot leader looks to impose his will on a universe that sits on the edge of a full-blown war. With the help of Titan Master Autobot Infinitus, Sentinel Prime hopes to use his knowledge and wisdom to bring peace and justice back to the universe. When Sentinel Prime links with Titan Master Autobot Infinitus, he gains temporary invincibility by shielding him with a force field, giving him the brains and power to take on anyone.
This Triple Changer Sentinel Prime figure converts between 3 battle modes: robot, space jet, and train. The 7-inch Sentinel Prime figure converts from robot to space jet in 11 steps, and from space jet to train in 19. The Autobot Infinitus figure converts from robot to head and back in 1 step. When the Sentinel Prime figure is in vehicle mode, Titan Master figures fit inside. Also includes blaster accessories and a collectible character card with tech specs.

Let me say first that this is my first Titanmasters figure, as at this point I am only interested in buying from Hasbro if it is a brand new character or one that hasn't had a figure before, and the G1/non-movieverse Sentinel fits the bill. You might understand that being old enough to remember the original headmasters placed me under the delusion from the photographs that it was their size or similar. The headmaster, excuse me, titanmaster, Infinitus, is just a bit larger than a diaclone driver when transformed to robot mode. (another ancient reference) Nonetheless, the colors and details on Sentinel and his small friend are really fun and alien. They underscore that he is a Cybertronian, with no Earth contact whatsoever. The colors scream even louder in person. The product photos use a very muted paint job, but in person this guy just makes you crave froot loops. I love the gimmick of the orange pieces popping out to the sides of the head on a spring, although I'm still not sure if this is added security for the head or what. It is wedged very tightly in the neck slot regardless, to the point I'm afraid I will twist the headmaster figure's head off the few times I've transformed him. Becomes a space train/tank thing and a beefy spaceship, and I doubt anybody will need to look at the instructions except to make sure the little panels on the legs are flipped correctly. Covered in peg holes so you have many options for mounting the weapons. I can see a kid or an adult collector having a lot of fun with this figure and I sincerely hope the Titanmasters do well in stores because I'm seeing a noticeable jump in quality here from the combiner wars figures. It is the right size to line up with MMC's Seraphicus Prominon, the old Cybertron Vector Prime and any number of Optimus prime figures to form a "lineage of primes" type display, which was my intention when purchasing the figure.
