LOVE:1. The packaging-fun 80's power grid, comes carefully packaged in fish mode.
2.The color scheme. Not shy
with the pastels.
ENJOY -1.Transformation. a lot of parts lock up nicely in fish head/robit leg area
2.robot mode head sculpt. A lot of character here. Looks like he's smirking because he doesn't care how gross he is.
COULD BE BETTER: Suffers from joint looseness on the hips and head, as reported elsewhere. The weight of the tail seems to want to pull robot head back and it doesn't lock in nicely, and he tends to lean forward or back thanks to the loose hip ratchets. I expect better for the price. Feels like I pulled it from a flea market and didn't buy brand new.
2.The weapons-seem like they should be able to store somewhere don't they? they go nowhere. guns can mount on screwholes on the fish mode back but you can tell this wasn't intentional. swords likewise look like they could fit onto the body somewhere. Just a lot of extra parts. I can tell they will combine together with other pieces to form Poseidon's sword, but right now they are kind of ungainly.

Never had any Seacons growing up, so from a completely nostalgia-free perspective, I LOVE this figure! Transformations are all streamlined very nicely; color palette balances very well; all teeth are extremely pointy; extraneous weapons and the Poseidon hand are easy enough to keep all together.
Not a perfect specimen, though; several bot-mode joints are fairly loose, including the neck's ball joint, and both hips. The shoulders, contrastingly, are very squeaky. YouTube reviewer baltmatrix pointed out these same problems, so it IS a production-wide issue. Not deal-breakers for me by any means, but definitely something to be aware of.
Overall, I'd say Bigbite gets a solid 85% on its own, so this is a definite recommendation.
