Amazing look, however, the tab on the sword handle snapped off and the gun turret peg easily shattered into pieces when trying to insert into the peg hole.

Undoubtably cool in design both in robot and tank mode but the figure is ver floppy and awkward to handle. On my figure the sword handle tab broke and one hinges on the rocket launchers. Also the left shin plate wouldn’t rotate all the way around.

Don't get me wrong, I still really like this figure, but with how flimsy he is, you can't play with him.
The shin panels don't always stay in well, his hip armor is so floppy and annoying that I have to move them to the back. He has trouble standing well, but maybe I just had the feet transformed wrong. And his hands, oh god. Fingers keep popping off, and he doesn't hold his gun very cleanly.
His transformation was not fun, but I think it's worth it because his tank mode is amazing.
I was lucky enough to get this guy when he was on a 25% off sale, and knowing now how he feels, I wouldn't have paid normal price.
This guy works best as a display piece, which sucks because I still like playing with my transformers. I hope that if DNA Design makes any more figures, they don't suffer Susanoo's problems. If he wasn't so flimsy, I would've rated 5 stars
Side note: I love the artwork on the instruction book, and i wish the added face had the fangs that Susanoo has on it

I did not have high expectations for this figure but when I took it out of the box MY GOODNESS THE WEATHERED LOOK MAKES IT AMAZING.

While the over all design is great, and the paint detail is great, there is a major flaw with this figure; the weapons are prone to breaking very easily. More specifically, the gun turrets and the sword. With the two barrel sections can break on the pegs and the hinges. With the sword, the clip that can flip out of the handle that connects it to the hand can break. And you know it's not a result of playing with it too roughly because when it breaks, it's not with a snap. The piece simply crumbles. And it can be that way right out of the box. I appreciate what TFSource customer support has been able to do for me by sending in replacement weapons, but even the replacement sword they sent came out of the box broken. The figure itself is solid, with just a little annoyance from the arm panels, but I suggest you wait before ordering until there's news on the weapon issues being fixed.

Transformation is a nightmare. Whole piece is comprised of hinges which pop off too frequently. Everything needs to be tabbed in just right which doesn't work too well with this fragile (But very well designed) mold. The hinges also have a risk of having the metal piece pop out which also occurred on more than one occasion. There is a lot of time spent putting these small pieces back to where they need to go, like adjusting the number of links in a watch.

This figure would be perfect with a more fun transformation and stronger joints holding the armore together. But if it was intended to be a desk piece 1st and Transformer 2nd it'd be 5/5.

It’s a beautiful toy. It just suffers as a toy. Very loose and wobbly throughout, which is somewhat understandable given the Samurai form factor. The cannon barrel arrived split. Had to super glue it back together; seems to be doing fine. The weathering is nice. Hard to decide if I would rather have the unweathered version.

excellent masterpiece no issues what so ever. worth the wait.
