Really? No instructions at all? I might have enjoyed this if there was a clue on how to transform it, and the videos online by reviewers are terrible, could not enjoy it. Trash.

Third-party transformers are sometimes hit or miss. Some are exceedingly awesome (e.g., MMC's Terminus Hexatron), and some are excruciatingly bad (e.g, KFC's "AirDancer" cassettes.) This tetra jet... just sort of sits in the "meh" category.
As a Tetra Jet, it's not bad. It feels pretty solid, with the only major disappointment being the open bottom where you can see the unused robot parts.
In robot mode, it's less impressive. The "wings" formed from the outer tetra shell just don't look "right" - no matter how you position them. There's very little articulation, and a lot of the kibble hides out on the back, making it very rear-heavy.
The instructions for transforming are nearly inscrutable, and only show jet-to-robot. This is doubly unfortunately, as it comes packaged as the robot mode. Fortunately, I was able to find a video online that showed the other direction.
Overall, for $20, you certainly could do worse. This will probably stay in tetra jet mode, simply because that's probably the more "acceptable" looking of the two.
