This kit adds a matrix chamber and Ion cannon which integrates perfectly in both modes. Nothing to remove when transforming figure. Highly recommended.

It's has a very genius way of incorporating into the truck mode and robot mode but the gun doesn't really like to stay in his hand

While the Matrix cradle is fiddly to install and in an awkward place in vehicle mode, the cannon is a genuine little marvel. Simple and elegant, yet one of the coolest TFs in my collection. And it really adds to Convoy, a marked improvement on the tinchy little handgun he originally comes with.
