I have thought masterpiece was going downhill. Too complicated, fragile, and pricey.
This one is none of those. I never got the feelings of remorse that have accompanied my last few transformers purchases.

As soon as i opened the box I felt it was worth the price tag. First it is big and heavy. This is what Skyfire / Jetfire should always be like. So white and the best jet mode I've seen for Skyfire.
Transformation is good. Still a bit complicated, but not frustrating. I never felt like i was going to snap or break anything. Which coming from the trainbots is really nice.
Robot mode is simply amazing. Like right out of the cartoon. It is the tallest mp figure I got, even taller than mp ultra magnus. Ton of articulation and solid joints.
The extras are perfect. The little prime, jazz, and wheel jack are really detailed and I like how they can interact with Skyfire. 2 extra faces, visor mask and blank/ decepti on chest plates are included and all of these fit in the backpack.
Honestly this is one of those big purchases that I did not slightly regret. I will wholly recommend it.
Also buy it through TF Source. They always package products to make it to you unscathed.
