The figure looks great albeit I wished the faces were a bit bigger, otherwise a good representation of G1 Starscream. However, my biggest gripe is that the rail containing the back panels were on loose rails and would constantly slide out of place in robot or jet form. It required some super glue to keep the rails locked in place between the panels and was rather tedious to do. No fault of TFSource of course, but I be rather wary next time I order a MakeToys figure

He is AMAZING. Yes, the rear Grey tailfins can be a bit floppy but as long as you don't mess with them you'll be fine. He comes with; (1) The figure (durr); (2) His own Flightstand, which can house; (3) three of his Five faces of Darkness (heh), (4) His two Null ray Effect parts, and (5); The null rays themselves, as well as; (6) 2 Missile caps to convert said null rays into missiles;(7) an alternate head which is much, MUCH better than the original, and smaller so it looks less like he has pillows spray painted black strapped to his head; (8) An underside piece that allows the stand to be plugged in, also covers up the arms. Articulation? Incredible. Stand can't house the head, but the Primary head can hold a face, as well as his alternate head. All in all, I cannot recommend this figure enough.

The package came in fine with no damage at all and I really loved its design. Everything inside seemed alright as well, again, no damage that I could find. The figure itself is a beauty to behold. Show-accurate colors with a sturdy model that can hold itself up properly without any assistance of a stand and pose-able body parts that allow for incredible poses (wings a but floppy but not so much). And also very good alternative faces and hands which I adore a lot. But one big thing that was missing was the instructions themselves to transform him into his alt jet mode. Now I intended to just have this figure in his regular mode to show it off and such but it would have been nice to have some sort of instructions so I can transform him and not rely on Youtube videos for assistance. But besides that, I really loved this figure a lot, especially for my first Masterpiece figure! Of course some slight issues but overall still good quality!

This figure really hits the right spots, so articulate and tight joints, with an amazing paint job the colors pop on this guy. He has a pressence. I own the original mp seekers from takara and meteor is my scream, he really stands from the other 2.

Now unfortunately my copy did not include instructions on how to transform. This was tough because he was in some sort of 3/4 transformation out of the box. Had to adjust, stretch, tighten, affix parts, straighten.... sucked without any resource. Hopefully everyone else got the booklet.

But as a Starscream this guy is 5/5

Despite the missing jet exhaust on the right foot on my copy, it's a good looking toy version of Starscream. Details are very simple which to me is not a bad thing. It goes with the simplicity of the cartoon design. I contacted TFS' customer service to see about getting the missing part added, hoping they could get it provisioned. The box was completely sealed so it was packed and shipped to the US with the missing part.

PROs: Vibrant red and blues. Affordable.

Cons: The waist/hip is still a weak part with no secure way to lock/tab things tightly in place. Considering that this is a newer version, I was hoping they'd included the wing panel convers.

I waited nearly 2 years for this figure to be restocked and I wasn't disappointed when I got it! The colors and paint give it so much shelf presence.
I give this only 3 stars because of
1. hands and head are really too small in proportion to the rest of the body.
2. The back of the legs/knees have a fair amount of gibble/wiggle and come loose.

MakeToys' EX Meteor (G1 Starscream) is extraordinary and will make you howl with elation at the Cybertronian moon!

The color scheme looks remarkable in-person, but said paint is only a slight improvement from the original Meteor (major difference is the color of the canopy)!

Please be advised that this iteration of MakeToys seeker includes the original pieces plus the underside wing fillers, six (6) faces (three (3) being new and improved), and two (2) pink blast effects.

Further, my version had nice-and-tight joints, and everything pegged in perfectly (still has the goofy butt-flap though).

This splendid 3rd-Party piece will make an outstanding addition to any Transformers collection in either mode; however, I do not believe there are enough improvements to the original to warrant a switch!

Ok listen, I get it. The Takara offering is more toon accurate and other than the many QC issues it has it displays far better than Make toys.. BUT when it comes to build, weight, articulation(Waist Swivel!) and overall presence, the Make Toys Meteor just is superior. It has great weight due to the Die Cast Frame and Parts, the transformation is new & fresh while also being challenging(in a fun way). The paint applications are just stunning. Many people complain about the head proportions but in hand it is no where near as bad as people think and in my opinion lends to the "Herioc" look of the bot making it seem far more intimidating. The new re release offers a lighter shade of grade for both the stock face & the 3 new faces ALTHOUGH I have found the "new" face sculps very "off" looking and the stock face is far more acceptable. The accessories are purposeful but I wish Make Toys incorporated a stand in the flying bot figures like Fans Toys and other parties do. This issue comes with already applied wing fillers which is just fantastic and was not required but Make Toys always tries to please the community in which I applaud them for due to the cry babies that are very prevalent in this specific community & fandom. Overall as a collector of both Takara & 3rd Party with over hundreds of figures of experience I believe this is the best Starscream to date and is the definitive choice for the collector that appreciates posing & displaying their figures. Again this offering has both an ab crunch & waist swivel which Takara still has not been able to do! Regardless you WILL NOT be disappointed in this offering of the most treacherous bot in the Transformer Universe!

This review is coming from a owner of the original Meteor. I had no intentions of purchasing this figure as I already have the original release but after picking up their Jazz reissue I had high hopes for this reissue but WTF is this???!!! I at least expected some better paint than the original but nope. THIS is basically the same figure, only difference I see is the difference in color shade with the cockpit on the chest. Outside of that, I feel like they just had some old left over stock that was sitting around and they just repackaged it as some new "Limited Reissue" SMFH. The extra face plates don't even have paint on them, WTF??? They are dull and bland, can barely see the facial expressions. Overall, I'm really disappointed in this release as I thought I was getting something different from what I originally purchased. I can only say the inclusion of blast effects was the better part and that the ab crunch is more fluid and maneuverable compared to my original copy.

End of the day though, the mold is still great. I just wish Maketoys was more clear about this release because honestly for all it's worth, I was just better off saving some money and just staying with my original copy but hey for those that don't want to pay the absurd fee for MP52 this is a GREAT option a lot cheaper.

This would be a 5 star figure if not for 2 major issues. First, his left hip skirt and starboard horizontal stabilizer were both breaking off out of the box. The plastic seems more brittle than my other MakeToys figures, which is why it broke. I glued both parts back on and I think they'll hold, but this is a major QC issue. Also, mine came with no instructions. I found a video to help with that but I shouldn't have had to. Otherwise, I love this guy. Both of his modes look great and his transformation is enjoyable. He poses well and the price is nice, but he lost 2 stars for the breakages and missing instructions.

Got this figure last Friday and other than a little dent on one of the corners of the box, it was in prime condition no loose parts or broken pieces it transforms without too much struggle and looks great in both modes I also got Despotron with it and the choke head works as it should I highly recommend this figure over the masterpiece if you are looking for a cheaper Starscream with good quality

This figure looks great, as long as you don't try and pose it or transform it. The head just flops around and the wings like to untab at the slightest vibration. My copy had a broken hip skirt right out of the box. This is my second Maketoys seeker and if the next one is this bad I may go with a different 3rd party company for my seekers.

Just got him yesterday. Definitely impressed, for what he is (half the price of the new Takara version 2.0). Great paint. Comes with wing fillers (thank goodness!). Love the articulation. Has some diecast. Don't like some of the gaps, like where the lower wings approach the body in bot mode. Also the flat butt flap is lame. And the lower leg transformation pales in comparison to Takara's new offering. And the head is still mediocre at best. (Getting a more toon replacement). If you want an MP toon Starscream on your shelf though, this guy will totally suffice. For me, the only reason I would want Takara's is because the transformation looks more interesting and cleans up better. However, that being said, considering the price of Takara's, and how good this one actually looks, this Make Toys Meteor is quite acceptable for an MP Starscream. I would recommend it. I think any collector could be happy with this.
