The Transformers Generation One Collectors Edition Toyline by Takara was released exclusively in Japan and features reissues of original Generation 1 toys.  Featuring both G1 Autobots and Decepticons this series was released in the early 2000's and includes primarily main Transformers G1 characters originally released in 1984-1986.  Each figure comes in Japanese style packaging including a box window displaying the figure in vehicle mode similar to how original Japanese and US Transformers figures were released in the 80's.   Additionally each figure includes a collector's card that features G1 toy artwork and the original product numbering of each figure in Japan.
