This is a really nice set. Not perfect by any means, but really nice. I only started collecting Transformers a couple years ago, despite being a fan since G1, so I missed out on these figures originally. I've had my eye on that Hot Rod for a while, so when I saw him in a pack with Wreck-Gar and Scrap Heap, I had to nab them.
Hot Rod doesn't disappoint one bit. His transformation is enjoyable and he looks great in both modes. His weapon integrates into the car mode to become a kind of jet exhaust like the 1960s and onward Batmobile has. The robot is really poseable and looks great.
Wreck-Gar and Scrap Heap are nice too. They look great in both modes, but getting them into motorcycle mode is less enjoyable than it should be. The big issue for me is getting the front end of the motorocycle all aligned and in place. It's extremely fiddly. But, they're still good figures. The robots are highly poseable and you can have one in motorcycle mode and the other in robot mode "riding" the motorcycle. That adds a lot of fun. Also, their weapons integrate into the motorcycle as well, forming the exhaust.
So, all said, this is a great set despite a couple issues, and Hot Rod and Wreck-Gar are two of my favorite characters.
