I love this figure! very posable and he has a lot of heft because of all the diecast in him. joints are nice and tight. knees area bit weak but not bad. nice IDW version of this character.

This thing is SOLID!
A bit top heave and some of its ratchet joints could have been tighter.
HOWEVER it's realy fun to handle, and the chest popping out and transforming into another figure is VERY cool
The transformation is very intuitive and fun.
Totally recommend to any Star Saber fan or Planet X fan

Weak leg joints they can barely support him.
Extremely tight fingers at first.
You have to attach his wings with a magnetic
screw driver and the one that it comes with is not.
His arm super legs big wings feet and hands are all the same piece on the left and the right, they are reasonably symmetrical but the front on one arm has screws and the back of the other has screws. His upper legs are dicast which has a shinyish paint but on one side there is a plastic part that is not painted.
I put him up on a shelf once and after an hour he fell of and his chest snapped of. I was able to super glue it back on but today I was transforming saber and it broke of again.
Some of the parts (chest, sabers legs, front of jet/shield, feet, horns) are fragile feeling.
His feet are entirely hollow and only held on by friction and when you move them they start to slide of of the peg that they are on.
In jet mode he has huge gaps and visible hands.
When transforming him opening up the back of his legs is painful and they open up suddenly making it even more painful.
The only redeeming quality is how he looks in robot mode (with the exception of the mismatched upper legs and some visible screws on one half of him), he looks super cool.
If you plan on only displaying yours only I would recommend it.
MMC is doing deathsaurus so maybe they will do starsaber and he will be better than this one.

First and foremost this is a beautiful figure indefinitely worth the price tag attached. Articulation is good especially the arms which help with Dynamic sword poses. Another bonus this figure has an ab crunch along with AB tilt which is phenomenal. The only true negative I would give it is that it does not have diecast feet Witchwood phenomenally help with balance but as it is is still a worthwhile purchase that I fully recommend.
