Ever since I got this figure it has been solid, solid arm ratchets, solid arm swivels, solid head joint, solid hip ratchet (doing the splits), SOLID knee ratchets and solid feet ratchets and ankle tilts. The only issue with the behemoth is the wings weight him down in the back and with his base line hips he had the tendency to lean back or forward if you posed him, but as soon as you tighten the joints he stands great, it be even better if he had larger feet though as he has zero heel syndrome but all in all a perfect figure, at least in my eyes yes he has problems but don't all figures

I had wanted this figure for a very long time, and let me tell you the wait was well worth it. The more mechanic design to the Beast Wars Megatron, in my personal opinion is a great look for the character, so much so that I bough Iron Factory Heat Death about three months prior to this figure (Basically a Legends Class version by a different, and very good company) The transformation is relatively simple in my opinion, and never got me stuck. Both modes are amazing to look at, and pose. My one, and only issue is getting this guy to stand. In robot mode the wings weigh him down significantly, so it can be a bit of a pain. In dragon mode the tail isn't enough of a counterbalance to stop him from falling face first into the ground all the time. It's not a super huge issue, and once you get comfortable with it, it's not a problem at all.

Just opened this guy up and I am not disappointed at all. He had a nice mix of metallic and mat reds, mat black, metallic golds, just looks beautiful in hand. He has a good bit of mass which makes him hefty and makes him command the space he is in.
Easy transformation, just got to learn how to do the arms to get them to fold up into the chest. Thankfully the wings can slide on and off(they come off in the box) so they won't get in the way. Robot mode is large and the dragon mode is pure massive and impressive, not sure which mode I want to keep him in truth be told.
Only downside this figure has is the wings make him backheavy, but you can use the tips as little kickstands to keep him up. But if you have them extended in robot mode then you will need a stand to help, even though he has from what I can tell strong leg joints.
If your debating on getting this mold, be it the BWTM2 Megatron or the blue Cryotek version I say either figure would be worth the money if your a Beast Wars fan, and as long as it won't break the bank.

Perfect Effect hits this one right out of the park! I was always thoroughly annoyed with how poorly Hasbro/Takara handled the design of the Megatron figure in Beast Wars and Beast Machines. Clearly I wasn’t the only one who felt this way! This figure is pure REDEMPTION! I love these figures being turned out by third party designers like Perfect Effect! They understand just how important these characters are and treat them with the proper reverence in design and artistry they deserve! This is the pinnacle of perfection! If there is a downside to this figure it’s HE’S HEAVY! A little difficult to pose him, but with a proper Bandai stand you’ll be just fine! Worth the purchase!

Megatron was one of my favorite characters of the BW show, and the Transmetal Dragon definitely my favorite from the 3 bodies he had. I had the original toy, but it was lacking... the Dragon mode was good, but the robot mode looks goofy, so having this huge figure with two great modes, it's a dream come true. I don't mind the different design, in fact I like it more than the original. The issues with this figure: Too back heavy due to the impressive wingspan, not enough die cast to my taste, difficult to pose due to the back heavy issue. I highly recommend it, but I'm biased!

This figure makes it hard to put down it is just fun all around. I enjoyed the show and have his classic face just makes the nostalgia flow in. on my copy The butt plates pop off often during transformation easily while trying to navigate the arm positions just right into dragon mode. Instruction manual could uses a complete overhaul and the packaging could include room for the head/tail while attached to the body. Not a big fan of parts forming when I want it put in back in the packaging. Overall great addition to my collection.

Super cool looking, like the TV show come to life. Great detail. great colors and great scale.

This figure, quite simply, is amazing. The colors are deep and rich, the transformation is smooth. He is definitely a crowning piece of my collection, right there next to my MP-01 Prime and my UT Warlord.
I highly recommend getting this guy. Yeeessssssss...

Overall, the figure looks great in robot and dragon mode, and the transformation isn't that bad, but a little clunky. The dragon mode look fantastic with the wings spread, and it is huge! My gripe is with the tolerances that resulted in loose connections, such as the ball joint from the tail to the head, and the ball joints in the dragon neck. Pivots and ratchets would have been much better throughout this figure. The figure is also very back heavy, and limits the poses this figure can maintain before flopping over.

The Figure came with everything it was described. It arrived by the estimated arrival dates. I would recommend this figure and It was worth the 10 month waiting since January.
