THE REAL BUMBLEBEE, i'm so happy that i finally got the real one. not interested in bayformers bee. sure i have a figure of that from mcdonald's back in 2010. don't want to waste my money on his crappy design ( except for Optimus Prime ). Highly recommended for everyone to get your own of the real bumble bee. worth every cent that you'll spend.

The definitive Bumblebee. Had to pick one of these up purely to slake my nostalgia and to spite the crumpled-up foil abomination they called Bumblebee in Bayformers.

I've never been particularly fond of Bumblebee, and truthfully just grabbed this because my Ark crew was missing a good representation of an important character, but playing with this figure had me going for the DVD set looking for Bumblebee scenes.
This is among the most exciting transformers I've purchased, and I haven't been able to put him down. The first thing I noticed is that the face is a lot less pudgy than it looks in pictures. It seems a lot of us were worried about this, but in hand it looks really good. It's not 100% cartoon accurate, but it's extremely close. I'm pleased with it.
He is very small, so understandably the plastic panels get thin in a few areas. The quality seems very good, but I'd still suggest handling with care. Better safe than sorry.
The transformation joints are fairly loose, while all articulation joints are tight... Verdict: Perfect. The smooth transformation eliminates a lot of the fear of snapping panels, and the tight articulation makes for excellent posability. He's very light with large feet, making for some great shelf posing.
All paneling making up the roof section of the car is molded in transparent plastic, painted yellow. Time will tell how well the paint holds up. The painted yellow doesn't match molded yellow plastic perfectly, but you have to get in pretty close to notice. All paint apps are perfectly applied, providing a lot of subtle detailing.
I don't love the exo-suit/spike addition, but appreciate why it was added. Mine will stay in the box, but I'll admit it's a neat little thing to own.
The coin is cool. It's the first Transformers coin in my collection, and much like the exo-suit, a neat collector piece.
The coin and battle mask were not packaged inside the box. They were each just added inside the bubblewrap along with the original released toy packaging. This didn't bother me by any means, but some may want to know not to expect a second updated packaging.
I honestly love this little guy. If you're on the fence, grab it while you can.

MP Bumblebee is a long awaited figure for many collectors. This figure does not disappoint. The robot mode is very reminicsent of the G1 aimation model, and the alt mode looks fantastic as a VW beetle. If Hasbro had licensing from various car manufacturers in the '80's I am sure the cartoon alt mode would ahve been more like this. The only downfall is the Spike/Daniel figure in the exosuit. The paint application on the face is nonexistent, the articulation is poor, and it doesn't really feel "fun" to play with when the arms always pop off. I feel this add-on, while a nice idea, was exucted poorly. Bemblebee is definitely worth picking up despite this one dawback!
