...other than the fact that Taraka cheaped out on the accessories for the Skids version (which is the one I got because it's the only one I was interested in - I didn't grow up in Japan during the 1970's, so
Diaclone isn't my bag), it's beautifully painted, head sculpt is gorgeous, transformation is intuitive, and the vehicle mode is also gorgeous and highly detailed. The articulation is not excellent, but good, and overall it's just a really solid masterpiece car bot. Fun toy. I know I said Diaclone isn't my bag, but I guess I still feel a bit slighted because Skids doesn't come with the scooter, so maybe I'm a hypocrite. I dunno. Solid recommend though.

I'm not a Masterpiece collector. I have a few third party MP scaled figures, but my main collection is CHUG. However, every now and then a figure pops up that says "buy me" even though it's not in scale with the rest of my collection, and this one was like that. Between the sculpt work, the paint work, the price and the fact that I've seen multiple positive reviews, I had to get him and I'm so glad I did. Skids is the big G1 forgotten character as Hasbro usually pays him little to no mind. However, the car is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Japan and that's what got us this awesome figure. Having him in hand is even better than seen pics and vids of him. I found pics of the real Honda online and it's a spot on match. Also, I love all of the Honda tampographed markings. The robot mode also looks great, and the transformation is enjoyable. All said and done, I'd say with the price this is a solid 11 out of 10 for me. In fact, it almost has me rethinking the direction of my collection, but I know that the MP game can be rough as some figures are going to be this level or better but many will fall short and cost more. So, I'll probably stay where I am with just a few MP figures, which isn't a bad thing when I have MP figures of this quality.

Not a bad price and nice version of Skids. Transformation is easy and it's not bad too look at. No metal parts nor does it have the Fans Toys presence about it. But for the price he's ok
