5 out of 5 stars overall

This sort of smaller figure deserves extra quality and simplicity and this toy delivers. The transformation is fun and simple, all the joints are smooth and solid, and most importantly, he looks amazing in both modes. My only major complaint is the size of his gun. I wish they had made it smaller for better posability. Would highly recommend for a buyer not looking to spend $150+

Ater Beta is a great figure, well worth the purchase. Unfortunately, mine came missing a screw to hold on one of the wheels, with scuffs around most tabs, and smeared paint up the thigh. I would have rated 5 stars if it came in good condition.

Once again Mastermind Creations hits it out of the park. An amazing sculpt, with perfect joints, and paint applications. I'm hoping for a Stray rerun so I can display the two together.

Really Great Figure! Everything is wonderful to look at. Transformations memorable after the first transformation. His shoulders are a bit clunky and make it so that pointing his arm straight gives him a funny look, but other than that, no complaints. Both robot and alt mode could be up for debate on what you like more.

My very first 3rd party figure, and it's amazing. Altmode is tight, front wheels don't exactly free-wheel, but they do turn, and it's not a major issue for me. Transformation was complex without being complicated, A couple minutes for my first time around.
One minor gripe, but nothing that's deal-breaking: The character shouldn't have had swords until after he was rebuilt. A couple handguns would have been more appropriate. Other than that? Great figure, great poseability, great design. 95% satisfied, and that's close enough to 100 that he gets five stars.

Nice figure. Good articulation with plenty of balljointed areas for posing. The swords fitting into his two part half hood pieces is a nice engineering touch. The pictures on the book we're obviously of the prototype before paint was applied. It has hand painted on paint apps and is kind of hokey for a final product but I digress.
My one biggest gripe about this figure is that the molds between the split pieces on the legs are noticeably different especially where the calf pieces meet. One side is slightly larger in the veins of the calf piece from the other side. This seems to be a mold goof that didn't get proofed well.
Overall a good figure and I'm customizing mine by repainting it with all metallic colors.
