I got this guy cuz I thought he was the best transforming box set ever, and I was right. I would say objectively the best head master currently on the market as of 12/3/19. Came in it's original box, double rapped in bubble rap. all together about 11 lbs.

Yeah I know its name is Pandinus, but lets be real...its Scorpinok lol. And boy, this is one of the best renditions of him for sure. My only complaints would be the claw arms are identical, not symmetrical. Its a small complaint though. Also im curious about the extra gun cartridges stored in the back side of the legs. As well the little compartments that open, and the little flap that rotates on the bottom of the feet. What purposes do they serve? Idk, but still cool.
One thing they dont show or mention, is that the claw arms actually come off to reveal fully articulated hands. They look a little small vs the gargantuan size of this beast, but still a veeerrry cool surprise and detail.
Overall the quality is very high. Very articulate and stiff joints resulting in some pretty dynamic poses. Evrything feels strong. Some areas have some flex, but all the joints are either ball joints, or click joints. The stiff clicks and huge feet ensure stabilty despite the size. And the ball joints ensure lots of use without fear of breaking something.
Because the transformations arent terribly complicated, i feel like this could've been like 50.00 less lol. But the epic scale of this figure makes up for it.
If you can afford these city bots, they are a good investment. I can't wait to detail mine and make look weathered and battle scarred. :)

He's not the original but they added a bunch of modern abilities in manufacturing that wasn't possible before. He fully articulates and can stand with a variety of poses.
The joints are rock solid and honestly a bit too strong but that's good because it ensures a life long opportunity of play/posing time.
Wonderful color schemes and a beautiful rendition of a machine. Score!

If you like City Bots, you will love Pandinus...I've waited a long time to finally buy this one. Very heavy constructed, solid transformation, amazing detail...a must have for "Headmaster" fans. Worth the $400. Who's next Maketoys...Fortress Maximus, Trypticon, or Omega Supreme versions?

Delivery was very early.
The knee piece (small tab) was damaged and broken only one time transformation. I hope I can get a replacement if possible.

I received my copy of MCB03 Pandinus yesterday and I was floored by this piece. Pandinus is by far one of the best constructed 3rd party transformers I own. He does not scale with Fortress Maximus like the 1987 Transformers cartoon, but he is a better representation of Scorponok the IDW continuity. I don't think there will be a collector that will be disappointed with this purchase. Pandinus is for his size and weight really sturdy and collectors can get him in some really dynamic posses. At the $400.00 price point I believe he is worth every dollar. Pandinus is a triple changer and headmaster and better constructed than some of the 3rd party combiners on the market. If Hasbro releases a Scorponok titan I very confident that it will not rival Pandinus. I hope this review helps you in you buying process

He's beautiful. A really solid feeling bot with surprisingly easy transformations. I give it 4 out of 5 because the price is a bit high, and the ponytail gimmick could have been worked out better. Also, the claws are the same for both hands (cost cutting), but you only notice it if you're looking for it.
