I keep giving Maketoys the benefit of the doubt because I've seen their brilliance. But I've also seen their atrocities (Quantron for example). This thing falls in to the atrocious category. Its over thought and over engineered and didn't need to be. Parts forming should be fairly simple, but they managed to mangle it the way Jason Vorhees would a victim and give us the crappy production value of a Micheal Myers flick. Nothing stays tabbed together, so now you have the Nightmare on Elm Street cliché to boot. Neither mode is good, or even acceptable. Go with Takaras LG. Its over priced, but hey, we're getting used to that at least, right?
