Buster Stealthwing is actually a very cool figure, and if you want him as a standalone, I absolutely do recommend him. The combining gimmick with Striker Manus/Noir is a nice bonus, but not enough of a reason to get the figure if he otherwise doesn't interest you.
Pros: BIG. Solid, got good heft to him.
Cons: Combiner mode is basically stripping parts off him to bolt onto Striker Manus/Noir (Combined mode is hella cool, though). Ball joints for the rifle handles are scary stiff on my copy. Typical Cross Dimension complicated transformation.

Buster Stealthwing's transformation can be a challenge but, so what? His design and proportions in robot mode lean very much toward cyborg which I like a lot. Also, does anyone besides me appreciate the fact that he is more than basically a Marvel Quinjet? Try removing the long intakes/cannons and placing the dorsal thruster pegs in to the rear most ports and...total Agents of Shield and Tricarrier worthy!! :)

The big sword-gun thing with the combined model is from the Striker noir set, while the twin swords are from the Thunder Manus set. All weapons that stealthwing himself is not holding are from other make toys sets.

I love the look of the toy overall. Just wish I had a Sriker Noir figure to combine it with so the color schemes would match better. The joints stay in place and hold poses well. Getting everything to fit together snugly during transformation can be a challenge - like getting the back panels to fit together when transforming to vehicle mode, or getting the sides of the chest to connect to the cockpit/ center when transforming to robot mode. Once you've got everything properly in place, though, it holds together well and is very sturdy.
All in all, it is a big, beautiful, badass looking Transformer, and I am pleased to have it in my collection.

This figure has loose wing tip hinges, but at least the arm and leg joints are fairly decent. It does not combine with Striker Manus well at all, as the wings and chest assembly fall off rather easily. Also, I am missing the broad sword and double swords that are pictured as being included. The box does not show them in the contents picture, but it shows the combined figure holding them (along with an additional rifle). Very misleading.

The figure is too difficult to disassemble in order to use for combine mode, specifically in the legs. And if you manage to get everything off, the legs are, once again, the big issue, as they are too difficult to put onto the Manus mold and back onto the Stealthwing figure.
