It's a really good value at the sale price and, in retrospect, not bad for its listed price. The plastic feels decent and sturdy. Both modes are pretty good and resemble the War Within art. The transformation is straightforward enough to make it a good desk toy.

I wish they had done a bit more to break up those big, yellow shoulder pieces. That being said, this little figure is impressively sturdy. While the joints don't have any locking or ratcheting mechanism, they are all well-fitted - I haven't had any trouble getting him to hold a pose.
I do enjoy swapping the faces occasionally. One minor modification I made was to cut the threaded part of that screw down a bit - at about half the original length, the shortened screw still holds the faces on just as well, and doesn't take as long to screw in.
Overall, a wonderful and well-made tribute to a beloved character. I'm happy to have him in my collection.

Maas Toys' premier figure makes for a great first impression. Scaling roughly between Legend and Deluxe-scale, this is a great representation of the character's comic book design.
The Transformation into its vehicle mode is fairly simple and cleans up great, and includes wheels to roll along a surface as well. It also includes weapon storage for the figure's two pistols that keeps them out of sight. Although there's great surface detail, a lack of paint to define it is somewhat annoying, and the vehicle's cab top is noticeably a deeper shade of yellow than the rest of the plastic. Still the vehicle mode works for what it has to.
The figure's robot mode, while well made, is the lesser of the two modes. The most troubing aspect is the fact nothing is locked down in robot mode, which will frequently cause the shoulders, waist and shins to shift out of position while trying to pose him. The shoulder construction itself is also confusing, as there are two ways to transform them with neither really proving advangeous over the other. None of the above issues impede its poseability and articulation however, which are both top notch. The figure includes an extra face, which must be swapped out using a screw and screwdriver, and two pistols which it holds very well.
Overall this is a great figure, although somewhat expensive for what it offers. Recommended, but not a must-have.
