G1 Transformers is something that I used to watch with my dad growing up, and "Enter the Nightbird" was one of our favorite episodes. Now, holding the toy in my hands, Takara's Nightbird does not disappoint. The black and silver really complement each other, taking this mold to a whole other level of awesome. All that pink on Arcee makes that art-deco alt-mode look good, but Nightbird makes it friggin' sexy. The robot looks even better, and the transformation was simple yet satisfying; all the parts moved smooth as warm butter. Take care with her, however; her arms and legs are quite thin and could break easily. All things considered, 30 bucks is pretty reasonable for a Japanese exclusive, and Nightbird is definitely worth the money. Why are you sitting here reading this review?! BUY THIS TOY NOW!!!!!!

Ever since I saw this episode of the original G1 Transformers cartoon, I wanted this fembot as an action figure. And thanks to Takara Tomy, I got Nightbird thirty years later.

It is basically a re-mold of Legends Arcee. For me, the vehicle is inconsequential because Nightbird never transformed into an alt-mode. The bot-mode is where this action figure really shines through.
