Amazing possibility and design. Simplistic and fun transformation.

Wheeljack is my favorite Autobot and as I got into Legends collecting after Toyworld's Whiskey Jack was widely available, I had to pick this guy up. Great looking in robot and alt mode, I personally like the cleaner look with less decals on his alt mode ala the old Hasbro Classic Wheeljack. Very easy transformation and nice acessories which include a "lighting up talking" alternate head and two extra pairs of hands. My only complaint would be his toes. Great for posing but they are formed by two pieces and I had to glue one together as it kept falling apart but just a minor QC issue. Highly recommended if you like the character or need him for a Legends display.

What a great take on the classic transformation - simple, fun, looks good each mode and wears bot mode EXTREMELY well (which is where most IF's shine). I would have appreciated some more writing on the paint job (making it look more Lancia and less blank slate), and his hinds could hide or integrate better into the side in alt mode. All things being equal though, you can look past any of these foibles for a legends scale addition to your collection. One of my favorite IF's (although mine came with some plastic scufs on the hood that were not a result of the first transformation - something from the factory marred up a bit of the unpainted plastic).
