I feel like I waited forever for this complete set, but man was it worth it. Iron Factory is just simply amazing and this combiner set proves it.

On his own, Commander isn't quite as impressive as his teammates. He comes with plenty of parts to form various different modes, including a trailer for his vehicle mode and a statue for War Giant's extra parts. His weapon can also fold up to be used as part of War Giant's larger rifle. Unfortunately, without the additional parts from the other four War Giant figures, these parts can't be completed to use.

As a figure Commander is fairly solid. He's very sturdy and can pose well, although his articulation is surprisingly more restricted than your typical Iron Factory release due to the combination engineering. His vehicle mode is likewise pretty lackluster, even with the trailer created from the War Giant parts which cannot swivel when attached.

Even with these criticisms, War Giant Commander is by no means a bad figure and a good offering on Iron Factory's part. However, he'll only reach his full potential if paired alongside his teammates.
