ToyGeek code: WFC-DELUXE-HUBCAP
This special edition WFC-GS13 Hubcap figure is the first modern era update inspired by the 1986 Mini-Vehicle mail-away. He even features the classic orange face unique to the original toy release. Hubcap is a character with some serious identity issues.
Not only is he often confused with Bumblebee for being of similar size and color, but the original 1986 mail-away mislabeled him as Cliffjumper. Not that anyone knew who Hubcap was at the time anyway. Though he appeared in the 1986 Mini-Vehicle assortment, he was only introduced into Transformers entertainment in 2007 with the release of IDW's Megatron Origin Issue #3.

Just as good as mold mates Cliffjumper and Bumblebee. Now I have all 3 of the G1 Penny Racer trio.
Hasbro, now make Glyph and Tap-Out.

If you like Earthrise Cliffjumper, you'll like Hubcap. Personally, I love that figure and I plan to get every version that Hasbro releases. The car mode looks great and the transformation is fun. The engineering on this figure is great, and the size is perfect for being a Cliffjumper-esque design. He's kind of between a Legends and a Deluxe, but I'm fine with that. I appreciate the work that went into the figure, and I feel the accessories make up for the size. Though, if you get every version of this mold (including Bumblebee) you'll have 4 of Cliffjumper's big cannon when only 1 really existed on the show, but that's OK. Aside from being a great design, I also love the paint job for Hubcap, the yellow and orange really pop.
