Awesome piece for the collection

I'm not criticizing this store at all, just this model. Its a pain to transform (good luck clicking the car doors in completely), it can't roll because the bot's chest sticks out of the bottom like a giant tumor, and out of three different toys not a single one had a good paintjob on the face (you'd think it would be difficult to make a robot look inbred but whoever's responsible for painting these did a real doozy of a job). Its extremely shoddy too. After two transformations, a lot of parts just lost all friction and started swinging around like bags of broken bones. Out of the Transformers toys I have had over the past few decades, this one caused more pain than any other. Its cursed plastic.

I'm so glad to have this guy in my collection. As most collectors probably know, Hasbro couldn't acquire the Ferrari license. So, the alt mode is obviously not quite what we saw in the film. There was nothing Hasbro could do legally to fix this. However, the robot mode is definitely film accurate. He looks so good, like he's ready to take on some Dreads. The transformation is a bit fiddly. As with a lot of movie figures, the car shell basically folds out over the robot and you have to line up and tab bits into place without knocking other stuff out of place. It take s a bit of doing, but it's doable. The only thing I don't like about the alt mode is that the robot mode feet hang down and stick out a bit from under the doors, they also hinder rolling if they're not perfectly in place. Also, for people who don't like this sort of thing, let it be known that he has 3 different colors of red. But, none of those few minor negatives will ruin my enjoyment of this figure. I'm just glad to have this guy in my Studio Series collection.
