My Down Force actually arrived with a cracked windshield! Aside from that, another excellent product that seems well in line with what I come to expect from Fansproject. But it does loose a star for that windshield.
I can hope that Diesel might perhaps come with a surprise of a sturdier replacement part. In the meantime, while the toy gets only four stars TF Source gets five! When I contacted them to ask if anything can be done about exchanging it, they offered to send me out a replacement part. It'll still likely be the same piece others have had to be careful with... but at least I know I've got a shot at keeping this one intact!

This non stunticon, like all the other FP ones are a huge disappointment. I cannot get past the size, which seems way out of proportion with any other 3rd party combiner team. Unlike Toyworlds non throttlebots, which are the same size...yet so far ahead in every category. I broke a piece on almost everyone one of these. The transformations are extremely tight, and you'll find yourself taking apart pieces just to finish the transformation. The guide is awful and confusing. I'm bought the rest, b/c I was impatient to have a Menasor.

Just like Travis Martin's review, on my very first transformation my Downforce got a stress crack in his windshield, right next to the rotation post. I'm uncertain if it's the quality if the plastic or the incredibly close quarters that Fansproject expects some transformation movements to occur within in these Stunticons. Transformation to and from car mode for almost all of these figures involves clearing microscopic gaps, pegging in tiny tiny tiny bits that I imagine will not age well and hearing lots of audible "snaps" that are downright terrifying for any Transformers fan. Still, all that being said, I'm thrilled to have a modern set of Stunticons and I do love the work that Fansproject has put into these. (I just wish they were as forgiving and "solid state" as some of their other designs).

First off, I want to say that it's a wonderful figure. I've bought CA-9 through CA-12 and I've enjoyed their tight transformations and design.
But the windshield on this guy is super brittle. Mine cracked on the first transformation. The material it is made out of is what I can only describe as the plastic used to make the cheap clear water guns that shatter at the slightest pressure.
Hopefully FP will come through and offer a fix or replacement, but until then, enjoy carefully!
