simply an amazing figure. the details are plentiful, with very little kibble. The articulation and movement of the figure is outstanding. The packaging and artwork was also top notch. The initial transformation was a little difficult, but became much easier once you went through it the first time.

Backfiery (kickback) is one of the first custom figures I've bought, and if every custom I get from now on is half as good as this figure, I'm gonna be one happy camper. This figure, complex in it's transformations, makes this an expertly designed figure with awesome articulation and a unique caliber about it. I would have preferred if he had a visor and a mouth instead of eyes and a faceplate, but it works either way. My only other complaint is a lack of gun, but I understand the designers were going for a ninja look, so they can get away with it. All in all, I love this figure!

I couldn't agree more. This is the best of all 3. I just love everything about this figure. I'm glad i finally can display all of them next to each other. Fansproject is the best, no doubt about that.

Backfiery is finally here! Just like the other two fansproject causality offerings, this guy does everything right. The weapons, the colors, the articulation. This is everything you expect from fansproject and more!

Recently got Backfirey from here on the source and let me say first thanks to the source for getting this figure to me in perfect condition and fast shipping. Now on to the main subject of the final ninja insecticon. Like the previous releases for the side story of Crossfire he comes packaged in robot mode. His weapon count is only 6 kunais which are pretty pointy and sharp. The joints are the same as the last two ninja bugs which double jointed elbows but no waist movement due to transformation into insect mode. Transforming to insect mode can a bit tricky the first time as it feels like when your trying to undo the legs from the waist you feel like you might break them. Go slowly the first couple of times till you get it down and makes it easier. Teamed up with his fellow ninjas Thundershred and Stormbomb this guy is without a doubt a true update and upgrade to the character of Kickback from G1. The overall color scheme for Backfirey works so well with the others. Fansproject has given a much needed update to the classic insecticons by turning them into ninjas with control over the basic elements. Which means you can either get shocked by Thundershred, blown away by Stormbomb or just burnt to a crisp by Backfirey. I am so glad to finally have the complete set of these figures and will proudly display them next to Flameblast and Warcry in robot mode to complete the set till the next one is released. If you have not picked up any of the other figures yet from the Causality line yet or on the fence about getting the updated versions of the insecticons then take a look at the other reviews of Thundershred and Stormbomb. Go on youtube and watch the reviews from Peaugh and a few others who have reviewed all three figures and make your decision based off that. Me personally i say pick up these guys only because you will not be let down at all thanks to Fansproject. Frankly i can't wait to see what FP has in store next but knowing them it will be something that will knock the socks off of everyone who is a fan. Once again big props to the source for getting this bad boy to me in perfect shape and allowing me to complete a shelf of Fansproject. Till the next installment of Fansproject goodness i'll enjoy myself with what i have.

it may have taken longer than expected, but this guy is worth the wait. he's a little bigger than thundershred and stormbomb, but no less amazing. it's great to finally have all three to display. Fansprojects clearly only makes the best.
