First, my box arrived just a little banged up, but that's more a function of Fans Want It than TFsource. Those who want a good condition box should know to kick in the extra $4 for a C9 box now to avoid aggravation later.

Now that we got that little clerical bit out of the way, on to the kit itself:

It's remarkable! I have the APS-01 premium paint Striker Prime, but I can see this going extraordinarily well with any ROTF Leader, Buster, or Striker Prime (sorry, I do not believe this will work for Jetwing).

The charcoal color with strategically placed dark red highlights perfectly emulate the look and feel of ROTF. He gains about 1.5" in height, the engines and shoulder pads add some nice bulk and width, and the gatling gun, is, well, glorious. Prime's natural articulation is minimally affected, if at all, and you get extra articulation in the add on pieces - the feet give you an extra joint, and a small rocker, and the various fins, etc. give you plenty of opportunity to customize the look.

Admittedly, I never plan on using this kit in vehicle mode. You can do it, but it folds up quite bulkily and doesn't quite "go" as well.

Caution is advised - the plastic is of good quality, but there are many pieces that are thin as a matter of design. I'm not afraid of breaking mine, but clumsier folks might be.

FINAL ANALYSIS: Highly recommended! A bit pricey at $100, but my Prime is much more a display piece and crown jewel of my collection as a direct result of this kit. 100% satisfied!

There has been no problem with the box whatsoever nor its contents.
The piece itself makes Striker Optimus look very powerful and dark in some manner.
