This upgrade kit is very effective. It has overall made the figure better than what I could’ve ever imagined. I gave this a 4 because when I put the mace and spear into Grimlock’s hands, they pop off the socket a couple of times. Then, it takes a while get them on there and stay on there. Other than that, there are no other problems with it. It makes my Grimlock look phenomenal and more movie accurate. Thank DNA Design!

Received my kit today, I had a surprise as i opened the box, since i ordered from a second run of this set, that meant the bonus tongue piece was not to be included, and yet, it was in the box! All the pieces fit quite snuggly, the wrist joints are a little tight but that's not a problem. Totally worth the buy!

First of all don’t get me wrong it’s a good add on kit for Dino mode love the opening hands and the ball and chain weapon. The main problem with this kit is the staff main the connection points it’s way to tight it broke on mine after three transformations so be extremely careful with it.

I saw the specs for this kit back in June, when I saw this I was extremely excited as the studio series Grimlock was lacking. I've had the kit in-hand for 3 days and transformed the figure a few times. I know some of the Youtube comments I saw from reviewers complained about parts forming but it's an add-on kit so you should already be expecting this. The good news is this really does make the figure look complete. The paint apps are nearly flawless. The bad news is the fitting tolerances, they don't look like they were properly tested and even on things that peg together between two pieces from the kit are starting to show stress marks on the plastic.

For the time it took to bring this kit to market I would have figured that plastic tolerance would have been thoroughly tested so 4 out of 5.

I received the item within the estimated delivery dates. The item came exactly as described. Nothing missing and the package came undamaged. I would recommend this item to theirs who own Studio Series Grimlock. Thank you very much TFsource.
