ToyGeek code: DS03-COMPRESOR
This figure is part of the Devil Saviour combiner called Troublemaker, which will be a complete set of seven figures combining to create Troublemaker. A very interesting alternative over the ongoing Studio Series version.
This is a very impressive and detailed rendition of Overload with a lot of details and a beautiful deco with some dust and weathering. The design has got some liberties and modifications compared to the original movie design, but the result looks great in both robot and alt mode.
Note: Other figures shown sold separately.

4 out of 5 stars overall

honestly this looks amazing and definitely makes me want to combine the full troublemaker (devastator) figure. unfortunately the thing holding it back from being 5 stars is how hard to handle it is. the joints are really stiff and some of them require some finesse to transform so its almost inevitable that some parts will break. still overall amazing and i cant wait to get the rest

This is by far one of my favorite Devil Saviour figures but comes with just a couple of flaws.
The pros however are that he is actually fun to transform and is solid overall, and looks amazing.
His legs are a different story. The hip ratchets and leg ratchets are way too tight and prone to immediate breakage out of the box but you could fix this with lubricant and some compressing of the spring by heating it over a stove (in a nutshell).
Overall I would recommend it but fix those leg ratchets immediately.

I would like to give 5 stars to Devil Saviour robots, however I will give them three stars for the following reasons:
Pros:
- Great detail in all the modes.
Cons:
- The fragile parts are extremely fragile while the stiff parts are extremely stiff and could affect your fragile parts.
- It is very easy to find defects in your robot when you receive them.
Speaking of Compressor, the detail is great: comparing to the Hasbro version, Devil Saviour's vehicle mode really ressembles the Caterpillar 776 articulated dump truck, while the Hasbro one, looks like an invented space vehicle. However, the legs are very stiff and, if you don't hold them at the articulation level, you can easily break them. The lock that holds the arms in po
sition near the crotch in combine mode suffers from a similar situation: It is so stretched that the small plastic pieces could break if you don't use pliers to operate them.
In conclusion, mixed thoughts about it: Good detail, but quality assurance is not that good.

He is a heck of a lot smaller than I expected. He feels almost the exact same size as the Studio Series Figure. But he is pretty cool. Very stiff joints. Be careful.
