I wasn’t expecting a lot when I got gears but when he got here, he’s by far one of my coolest transformers so far

I can't say I'm in love with this figure but it definitely scratches the Gears itch. Great looking figure, but a little bit of a pain in the butt to transform. Still really like it though.

This is the first Badcube figure I have been disappointed with.
The robot form looks pretty great but lacks some articulation. You can still get some decent poses out of him but you can't do a good fist waving pose that any decent gears figure should be capable of. As his arms and head aren't very articulate they won't pose that way. But the shape of his head is probably part of the problem there. Also he should be a bit taller in my opinion. He is just over Bumblebee's height, and while he was one of the smaller characters he should be a bit bigger than he is.
The truck form is much too small and doesn't look rite next to other cars in that scale. Also, and this may have been just mine, but I found him hard to keep together in this form as parts didn't want to snap into place tightly. Especially the front end. The transformation isn't overly complicated if he would just stay together.
Overall he is just too small for what I wanted.
Badcube could up his scale a notch to Brawny proportions and re-release him for a much better reception in my opinion. I think that would help a lot with the issues.

This guy looks great in his robot mode. I like that we get his smiley and grumpy face even if the screw is initially too tight so you might want to loosen it a bit.
But he really does look like he was pulled right out of the cartoon.

Dude,
This figure is great, really easy transformation! Just watch the leg panels! you need to extend his knees fully before swinging the tailgate section through his crotch. I stressed mine, but that was my fault. I don't use the instructions, I like to figure the transformations out myself.
Plastic is good quality and the use of die cast in the feet make him really stable and pose happy. Paint apps are good, all you need to do is slap a couple repo labels on him and your golden.
He is super possible for a little bot. the accessories are spot on as well. I don't think TT would be hard pressed to do any better this is your Masterpiece Gears!
